They were helped by models such as the Tiggo series and Omoda 5 which are now their mainstays in the SUV car market. Now Chery is presenting a new model called Tiggo 5x in the compact SUV segment. Chery Collects Hundreds of Tiggo 5x Orders in Indonesia
The Tiggo series has become one of Chery‘s mainstays in the market apart from the Omoda 5. Even though total sales have not been able to catch up, at least the Tiggo 7 and 8 Pro are still well received by consumers in their segment. Moreover, the model that has just been launched, namely the Tiggo 5x.
From its dimensions, it looks smaller compared to the three cars launched previously. Even so, the Tiggo 5x received a good response from the market because it was a more compact model than previous Chery products. Moreover, it is sold at a fairly affordable price, so it is not surprising that up to 200 units of this model have been ordered.
High Orders
The compact SUV segment is actually still quite promising for a number of manufacturers, especially Chery. They see the market in Indonesia as a market that has great potential to present their superior product, namely Tiggo 5x. Even though the launch had been delayed because they had not yet decided on the selling price, now they can sell it.
This model is assembled locally like the two models Tiggo Pro and Omoda 5 which were launched previously. So the selling price becomes more affordable, and Chery can meet demand in the domestic market more quickly. They know that consumers like locally assembled cars like the Tiggo 5x, and this is one of the factors in the high number of orders for this model.
Even with the presence of the Tiggo 5x, the other three SUVs still receive a lot of orders. Especially the Omoda E5 which is starting to be sent to consumers.
