RiderTua.com – LMPV cars (low MPV) remain one type of car that has attracted a lot of interest in Indonesia in recent years. The sales performance is also quite good, even though last January the market conditions were not so good. Entering March, it was observed that the selling price of LMPV cars was still quite stable. Even with the lack of new models released, except for the Suzuki Ertiga Cruise.
LMPV cars are still a mainstay in Indonesia
Sales of LMPV cars have so far been quite stable, especially with the many models offered on the market. The Toyota Avanza is still the sales leader in its segment, and it is clear that this model always records satisfactory results. Moreover, the selling price only reaches IDR 237.1 million to IDR 274.5 million, and this month there is no price increase.
Not only Avanza, other models, including its twins Veloz and Daihatsu Xenia, also did not experience price increases. From Suzuki Ertiga, Mitsubishi Xpander, Wuling Confero, Hyundai Stargazer, Nissan Livina, to Honda Mobilio, they still charge the old prices. Of the nine LMPV models, Livina and Mobilio have not received any refreshment at all.

New Variant From Suzuki
Talking about refreshments, the Ertiga has just received a Cruise variant, which is a replacement for the Suzuki Sport FF (Final Form) trim. For the first quarter of this year, only the Ertiga Cruise was launched in the LMPV market, at least for now. Because who knows, in the next few months other manufacturers will present their newest products in Indonesia.
Meanwhile overseas, Mitsubishi launched the Xpander HEV in Thailand last month. Indonesia should also be able to get it, but they don’t want to do it now because there are no hybrid car incentives provided. Still, they plan to release it in Indonesia after this, potentially even ahead of Toyota.
