RiderTua.com – Mazda actually really wants to start selling its electric cars in Indonesia. Even with increasing developments in the market, they don’t want to rush to catch up with existing trends. Mazda should schedule to release the MX-30 in Indonesia this year. However, when the model can be sold has not yet been decided.
Mazda Can’t Sell Electric Cars Right Now
Electric cars are now increasingly in demand by Indonesian consumers. Of course, with the increasing number of brands selling them, other brands also don’t want to be left behind in selling their superior BEV cars. However, not all manufacturers do this, because brands like Mazda don’t want to follow the trends in the four-wheeled market.
They don’t want to rush to launch their electric car in Indonesia even though they have already shown the model, namely the MX-30. Mazda admits that they still have to go through various stages before they can sell it here, but so far there has been no further progress. They also don’t want to say much about it for now.

Wait for the Right Time
As previously known, Mazda showed the MX-30 electric car at GIIAS 2023, although the model cannot yet be sold. But its presence has made a number of consumers interested in buying it, especially with the increasing trend in the electric SUV market over the last few months. Even so, Mazda insists that it doesn’t want to launch it too quickly.
They want to wait for the right time to release it in Indonesia, or in other words they don’t want to release the MX-30 too soon. If it is just released, it is feared that the selling price will be more expensive so that sales will not reach expectations. Of course, Mazda wants to avoid conditions like this, and chooses to bide its time until the model can be sold.
Even though it hasn’t been released yet, the MX-30 looks like a promising candidate for an electric SUV. This model could become a new competitor to models such as the Toyota bZ4X.
