RiderTua.com – Wednesday (28 February 2023) the Prima Pramac team launched a new livery for the 2024 MotoGP season with the dominant color Purple (speed purple). Uniquely, Paolo Campinoti’s team held a team presentation in the F1 paddock at the Bahrain International Circuit. The color purple is often identified with the color of widows by most Indonesians. Although there is no clear reason why this perception is formed, many people believe it. The purple color itself is actually a combination of red (Ducati) and blue (Yamaha). It is hoped that this purple motorbike will be as fast as a Ducati and as agile as a Yamaha in corners… O.K.. Mr. Eko 😁
Strengthened by two racers, Jorge Martin and Franco Morbidelli, the Italian team made significant changes to the design of its new motorbike. According to Martin this is a big change for his team… “Previously the motorbikes were always white. I think this color is much better and looks more aggressive, hopefully we will also be aggressive on the track. Hopefully we can improve on last year’s results and win (the title world) this year,” said Martin.

Prima Pramac Now Looks More ‘Widow’
For information, Fermin Aldeguer has been appointed as a Pramac Ducati rider for 2025. When he met Gigi Dall’Igna last January, the 18 year old rider was promised a multi-year contract with the manufacturer from Borgo Panigale. Once again the Reds continue to rely on young drivers. In the past, two-time MotoGP world champion Pecco Bagnaia was also contracted early by Ducati in the winter before Valentino Rossi’s pupil won the Moto2 title in 2018.
His new teammate Franco Morbidelli (2017 Moto2 world champion and 2020 MotoGP runner-up) is looking forward to his debut with Ducati. Morbi said that this was a great opportunity for him after 2 difficult years. Franky is very happy to be able to ride the best motorbike on the grid..and what an extraordinary motorbike this is. He will try to get good results and go strong throughout the season, said Franky.

After crashing in practice and missing the pre-season tests in Sepang and Doha, the Italian rider admitted, “It will definitely take a little time, especially at the start. But I plan to catch up as quickly as possible.”
