Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid Variant Most Sold

If you pay attention, the price of the Yaris Cross HEV is quite affordable when compared to the Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid, with the cheapest price only reaching IDR 440 million and the most expensive IDR 455 million. However, if you look at the selling price in Thailand, the cheapest is IDR 344 million, and the most expensive is only around IDR 392 million. So the difference with the official price in Indonesia is IDR 48 million.
Hybrid Car Incentives
Of course, this is a huge price difference, even though both are assembled in their respective countries. This price is also almost in line with the official price of the Toyota Raize in Indonesia. It is clear that the selling price of the Yaris Cross HEV is quite affordable in Thailand because of the special incentives for hybrid cars that apply there.
Because of this incentive, sales of Toyota hybrid cars can reach thousands or even more than that per month. It seems that this is also what made other manufacturers such as Mitsubishi launch their newest hybrid cars in Thailand. Indonesia itself does not have incentives for hybrid cars, but only for electric cars.
However, sales of the Yaris Cross Hybrid are still quite good so far. It was even able to become one of Toyota’s best-selling environmentally friendly cars.
