RiderTua.com – As we know, Ducati has a pretty fantastic selection of models and cool designs. Later on May 3-5 2024, Ducati Indonesia at the “We Ride As One” event will release 2 new motorbikes which will be held in Indonesia, namely at Prambanan Temple, Yogyakarta. This event is also held all over the world.
The 2 new Ducati motorbikes that will be imported are the DesertX Rally with an adventurous style that is ready to be taken off-road and another is the Hypermotard 698 Mono which has a supermoto style with fast performance. Of course, there is no difference in the equipment, especially the machining area.
Talking about the engine, the Ducati DesertX Rally is powered by a 937cc 2-cylinder, 8-valve, liquid-cooled Testastretta L-Twin heart connected to a 6-speed manual transmission complete with the Ducati Quick Shifter feature. Capable of producing power up to 110 hp at 9.250 rpm and maximum torque of 92 Nm at 6.500 rpm.
The adventurous style of this rally model is further supported by a revised suspension and chassis, a larger engine guard and a longer front fender that looks like a duck’s beak. The front and rear suspension from KYB is lighter and fully adjustable with DLC components to minimize friction. Even more stable with Ohlins steering damper and slightly modified billet clamps.
Finally, after 30 years, Ducati returned to presenting a motorbike by bringing a 1 cylinder engine configuration to its mass production motorbike. But this machine is quite a beast. Even though it only has 1 cylinder, this 659cc Superquadro Mono engine is capable of producing maximum power of up to 77,5 Hp at 9.750 rpm and 63 Nm of torque at 8.000 rpm.
The features are also very complete, with an Engine Brake Control system, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Power Launch and many more. In the RVE type, there are additional features with 4 ABS setting options and also a Cornering ABS system.
