Valentino Rossi added that Pecco completed 3 perfect laps today, proving that he is the best of all riders on a Ducati. Marc did more in the last laps, especially in the left corner where he covered less distance. He posted a time of 1:37.6 minutes and was closing in on Pecco.

Namjuan when the distance is getting closer, we have to overtake him and do it quickly. Because if not, the front tires will get hot and inflate so that overtaking becomes increasingly difficult. Marquez straight away, said the MotoGP legend from Italy.

When asked which was the best moment of Pecco Bagnaia’s race, Rossi answered, “The battle with Marquez, no doubt. When Marc overtook him at turn 9, he went a bit wide. Pecco returned to turn 10 with an entry like Marquez usually does. There, in my opinion , he immediately made it clear that he wanted to win.”

Bagnaia’s victory at the Spanish GP brought him up to second place, only 17 points behind standings leader Jorge Martin. Marc Marquez himself is in 6th place, 32 points adrift of Martin.
