Maverick Vinales added, “Obviously this weekend’s race gave me a big boost to keep working hard. It wasn’t easy and I spent a long night thinking about what I had to do to win the race again. Finally, I did it. I’m very happy because I didn’t never give up. But also to make everyone around me believe that I have enough talent and dedication to fight for this.”
Vinales admitted that he experienced a small problem with the clutch at the start and the team was quite worried that this would affect the race. They don’t actually want to mess with anything. Vinales had the same thing in the race but he was not bad and was in 2nd or 3rd position, but then he saw Pecco coming in and pushed him wide, very wide because Jorge (Martin) was also inside. According to him it was a racing incident.
