RiderTua.com, Austin – Maverick Vinales won pole position for the American MotoGP race. He was the fastest in qualifying at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Saturday, April 13 2024. In Q2, ‘Top Gun’ set the fastest time of 2 minutes 00.864 seconds. The Aprilia Racing rider was +0.328 seconds ahead of Pedro Acosta (GasGas Tech3). The third position was taken by Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing) as well as completing the riders who will start from the first row (front row) in the American MotoGP race after posting a record time of 2 minutes 01.266 seconds.
The following riders will start from the second row, namely: Francesco Bagnaia (Lenovo Team) who in this session recorded a time of 2 minutes 01.352 seconds ahead of Enea Bastianini (Lenovo Team) with a time of 2 minutes 01.439 seconds and Jorge Martin ( Prima Pramac) with 2 minutes 01.511 seconds. In the third row is occupied by rider from the Aprilia Racing team Aleix Espargaro with a time of 2 minutes 01.562 seconds followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina VR46) and Franco Morbidelli (Prima Pramac) with a time of 2 minutes 01.667 seconds and 2 minutes 01.737 seconds respectively. And the rider who will start from the top 10 is Marco Bezzecchi (Pertamina VR46), the Italian rider was only able to record a time of 2 minutes 02.279 seconds and even though he starts from this position it is still possible to be able to push into the front row during tomorrow’s race…
