RiderTua.com – On this occasion, Ridertua had the opportunity to test the new ADV160 CBS variant in red (Dynamic Red). The main objective of this test is to carry out long-distance touring of around 165 km, with the main difference being carried out at night.
Why is testing done at night? Because we want to see how this motorbike performs when going over bumpy roads or even bad roads without being able to choose a good route. If the test was carried out during the day, we would definitely be able to clearly see and select smoother sections of the road.
Testing the New ADV160 CBS Variant in Red (Dynamic Red) with Partners
Ridertua did not carry out this test alone, because he was riding with a colleague to be able to feel the response of the motorbike at maximum load with a pillion. The main focus of this test is on the suspension (comfort) and engine (performance).
The new ADV160 engine is indeed powerful with a net capacity of 156.9 cc. Its performance is completely superior when compared to the ADV150. The new ADV160 feels aggressive at rpm above 5000 rpm. The most interesting thing is that the ‘gredek’ (Chatter) symptoms like those on the ADV150 never appear, even though the odo meter shows 9000 km.
Riding Comfort and Advantages of the New ADV160
The riding position for touring is very friendly and doesn’t easily make the rider get sore quickly. With a seat height of 780 mm, the New ADV160 is still comfortable for riders with a minimum posture of 160 cm.
The New ADV160 trunk offers extraordinary flexibility with a capacity of 30 liters, and there is no heat inside. The core aim of this test is to find out to what extent the New ADV160 is comfortable to use in the road conditions in Indonesia which are often less than smooth.
The suspension damping is very comfortable for two passengers. Ridertua is very confident that the New ADV160 engine will not lack power at every rotation, especially when it is above 5000 rpm. This motorbike can go fast and without limits until full gas.
