RiderTua.com – Tonight there is a Sprint Race at 11 pm (23.00 WIB).. BTW: After the first day of practice at the Qatar GP, Brad Binder said, “The track was clean, everything was easy, our time was good, and the bike was perfect. Usually we “We lost a lot in the first session because the track conditions weren’t good enough. This time they were the ones to do it, and of course that’s good. We can start working straight away.”

Brad also shined during a training session on a rainy evening. “The rain was surprising, but I completed a few laps fast enough to feel the sensation of the bike in these conditions. I can’t complain,” said the Red Bull KTM rider, who finished 5th in Friday’s practice.

This is also due to the fact that after each session, the data of the four Pierer Mobility Group drivers, namely Brad Binder, Jack Miller, Pedro Acosta and Augusto Fernandez, is compared. Interestingly, Acosta always uses Binder data as a reference.

Regarding this, Brad Binder said, “If he refers to our data compared to other riders, it certainly varies. That’s quite impressive. If we explain further, one rider gets a small part here, another there. So overall, there is time to be found this way.”

Brad Binder wasn’t the only rider to praise the fact that rookie Acosta played at the same level from the start in the weekend’s race. “He was very, very impressive,” he said.

As is known, the test work in Sepang and Qatar was to screen the aerodynamic function. “Like during harvest, the good goes into the ‘basket’ the bad gets thrown away. Everything the mechanic put on my bike now works. Some things feel different. But how and why it works, doesn’t really interest me. For me it’s about developing a feeling and interacting with the bike,” explained Darryn Binder’s (Moto2) older brother.

So what are Brad’s hopes for Saturday? “I feel good. Very good, in any conditions. I’m happy and feel ready for the first sprint of the season. Put on the soft tires and go…!” answered the rider nicknamed BradAttack.

In contrast to his teammate, Jack Miller was very happy with the decision not to count Friday’s session as official FP2. “This season is very long. The decision to minimize risks on the first day of the year is not a problem for me,” concluded the Australian rider.
