RiderTua.com – Who doesn’t know the old Yamaha Mio Sporty and Mio Smile which were legendary but have stopped production. Now this motorbike is being targeted by people as restoration material. It turns out that in neighboring countries, namely the Philippines, it is still sold today, called the Mio Sporty.
Mixed Design

The front fascia is very similar to the Mio Smile with the turn signals and dusk lights integrated below. But uniquely, the rear tail actually resembles the first generation Mio Soul with a more rounded design and rear lights. The appearance is quite interesting and can be used as a reference.
The equipment on this scooter is quite standard, such as an analog speedometer, light bulbs, front disc and rear drum braking and standard telescopic suspension for the front.

Back to the design, the wheel shape is still maintained with 5 fan-shaped spokes wrapped in 70/90 front and 80/90 rear tires, the new model mirrors are sharp like the latest Yamaha scooters, the exhaust design is different.
Machines and Prices
The engine is still a 114cc 1 cylinder carburator, SOHC 2 valve with a power output of 7.6 HP at 8,500 rpm and maximum torque of 7.2 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The new Yamaha Mio Sporty in the Philippines is marketed at a price of 73,900 pesos or around IDR 20.5 million.
