RiderTua.com, Jerez de la Frontera, 2024 Spanish MotoGP Race Results — Lenovo Team rider, Francesco Bagnaia, managed to win the 2024 Spanish MotoGP race at the Jerez Circuit on Sunday (28/4/2024) with a total time of 40:58.053. The 27 year old rider born in Turin, Italy was followed by Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing) in 2nd place with a time difference of +0.372 seconds, and Pertamina VR46 rider, Marco Bezzecchi, in 3rd place with +3.903 seconds slower than the winner racing today.

Meanwhile, the 4th and 5th positions are respectively occupied by the Gresini Racing rider, Alex Marquez, and the Lenovo Team rider, Enea Bastianini with a gap of +7.205 seconds and +7.253 seconds. Finishing the race in P-6 was the rider from the Red Bull Racing team, Brad Binder with a distance of +7.801 seconds. In 7th place, the rider from Italy, Fabio Di Giannantonio from the Pertamina VR46 team, crossed the finish line +10,063 seconds slower. Then in P-8, there is a rider born in Pragal, Portugal 29 years ago, Miguel Oliveira (TrackHouse Racing). In ninth place Maverick Vinales (Aprilia Racing) was +11.217 seconds slower. How the race rolls

• Lap 1: Marc Marquez shot to first position, followed by Martin and Bezzecchi from behind. Bagnaia immediately overtook Martin and Bezzecchi, moving up to 2nd place. Alex Marquez and Binder are in 5th and 6th positions. Bagnaia overtook Marquez, and Marquez tried to retaliate, but almost fell after being beaten by Bagnaia and Martin, dropping to 3rd position.
• Lap 2: Bagnaia, Martin, Marquez. Marc is now being followed by Bezzecchi and Alex from behind. Bagnaia went wide at the last corner, was overtaken by Martin and Marquez, dropping to 3rd position.
• Lap 3: Martin, Bagnaia, Marquez. Bagnaia took second place from Marquez before entering turn 1. Marquez was still followed by Bezzecchi from fourth position.
• Lap 4: Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi. Morbidelli in 14th position recorded the fastest lap. Bezzecchi almost went wide and was almost overtaken by Alex from behind. Pedrosa fell at turn 8. Bezzecchi overtook Marquez at the last corner.
• Lap 5: Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi. Bagnaia recorded the fastest lap.
• Lap 6: Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi. Marquez recorded the fastest lap, and tried to catch Bezzecchi from behind. Bagnaia tried to overtake Martin.
• Lap 7: Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi. Martin recorded the fastest lap. Alex is still followed by Binder from 6th position.
• Lap 8: Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi.
• Lap 9: Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi. Marquez is still trying to catch Bezzecchi from behind, while his younger brother is starting to fall further behind.
• Lap 10: Martin, Bagnaia, Bezzecchi. Aleix fell after hitting Zarco who also fell moments later.
• Lap 11: Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Marquez. Martin crashed at turn 6.
• Lap 12: Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Marquez.
• Lap 13: Bagnaia, Bezzecchi, Marquez. Oliveira is now trailing Bastianini who is in 6th position after overtaking DiGia. Marquez.
• Lap 14: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Marquez overtakes Bezzecchi.
• Lap 15: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi.
• Lap 16: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Acosta, who is now in 11th position, tried to catch Miller from behind. Acosta eventually overtook Miller, moving up to 10th.
• Lap 17: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Marquez recorded the fastest lap. Acosta is now chasing Vinales who is now in 9th position.
• Lap 18: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Marquez tried to catch Bagnaia even though the gap was too big. Morbidelli fell after trying to overtake Miller who also fell. Both incidents will be investigated after the race.
• Lap 19: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Bezzecchi is increasingly lagging behind Marquez.
• Lap 20: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Marquez recorded the fastest lap.
• Lap 21: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Marquez again recorded the fastest lap. Marquez tried to overtake Bagnaia, and almost collided, so he had to stay in second place.
• Lap 22: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Marquez again overtook Bagnaia, but was again thwarted by Bagania.
• Lap 23: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Bezzecchi is now away from Alex, but can’t catch Marquez with too big a gap. Meanwhile, Marquez is still trying to overtake Bagnaia.
• Lap 24: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Bagnaia recorded the fastest lap.
• Lap 25: Bagnaia, Marquez, Bezzecchi. Marquez couldn’t catch Bagnaia anymore.
