Even though the Spanish rider won pole position at COTA, that doesn’t explain much about how the race went. After the start, Vinales was pushed off the track and then went wide then dropped to 11th position in the first corner. But then he managed a stunning comeback that allowed him to overtake Pedro Acosta to take the lead on lap 13.

However, why is this Spanish racer’s achievement not a good record? from 3 factory contracts over 10 seasons and around 160 races he only collected 10 wins…!
