Hyundai, Kia, and Toyota Offer Discounts on Their Luxury MPVs

RiderTua.com – Hyundai not only presents the low MPV Stargazer in Indonesia, but also the luxury MPV Staria. In fact, this model was present before the Stargazer, even though it is sold at a high price, it is comparable to the quality it has. Hyundai has just given a discount for Staria of IDR 15 million. Not only this model, but also two other rivals in the same segment.

Hyundai et al Offer Discounts on Premium MPVs in Indonesia

As previously known, Staria is one of the cars sold by Hyundai in Indonesia, as well as its flagship in the luxury MPV segment. This model has just received a price cut of IDR 15 million this month. Interestingly, only Staria offers discounts of more than IDR 10 million, while competitors in its class only offer discounts of less than that.

Staria’s twin, namely the Kia Carnival, where this model offers a discount of IDR 5-10 million. Carnival itself has received many requests for up to two months, but Kia has still been able to fulfill the existing demand so far. Then the Toyota Voxy gets a discount of just IDR 5 million, while the Alphard and Vellfire don’t get any discounts.

Five Flagship Models

There are five luxury MPV models that are the flagship of each manufacturer in Indonesia, with three of them from Toyota. Alphard still leads this segment, followed by Vellfire and Voxy, although Staria and Carnival also recorded good sales results. Still, neither of them can beat the three luxury MPVs from Toyota.

But at least now the segment is filled with other brands, and can offer different car choices than usual. Hyundai and Kia themselves are serious about selling their cars in Indonesia, including electrified models. They are not worried about having to compete against brands that are quite strong in their market, such as Toyota.
