Mitsubishi Xpander which Still Doesn’t Have a Hybrid Variant

RiderTua.com – Mitsubishi actually has several environmentally friendly cars that are sold overseas. Although there are also a handful of models sold in Indonesia, such as the Outlander PHEV and L100 EV. In Thailand, Mitsubishi launched the Xpander HEV several months ago. But until now it has not been presented in other countries, including Indonesia.

New Mitsubishi Xpander HEV Available in Thailand

For a car like the Xpander, you should be able to get an environmentally friendly variant. Especially after Suzuki did it first with the Ertiga Hybrid, even though this model only gets mild hybrid technology. Meanwhile, Toyota still hasn’t done this with the Avanza, at least for now.

The LMPV from Mitsubishi gets a hybrid variant which can provide better fuel efficiency and lower carbon emissions. It’s just that when compared to refreshes in general, the specifications and features haven’t changed much. Still, the HEV variant for the Xpander could be a good choice amidst the lack of environmentally friendly options in its segment.

Wait for the Time

Mitsubishi already knows that they will also launch it in other countries in the Southeast Asia region besides Thailand. Indonesia could be the next destination, considering that the Xpander series is quite famous here and still has many fans. With Toyota not yet presenting a hybrid variant in this segment, Mitsubishi should be able to use this to release it first.

But they want to find the right time to launch it, because they can’t just present it. Moreover, without incentives for hybrid cars, it is clear that they have to decide on the right selling price for the Xpander HEV. Because if the price is too expensive, the model will not be as popular as rivals such as the Ertiga Hybrid.

Maybe Mitsubishi doesn’t need to rush to release it in Indonesia. Moreover, they are still busy fulfilling Xforce’s requests here.
