RiderTua.com – Triumph Motorcycle recently launched the 2024 Rocket 3 Storm model which still comes with 2 model choices, namely the R and GT models. Both models will have different equipment and of course different prices, but with the same 3-cylinder heart.
Triumph Rocket 3 Storm R & GT
The Rocket 3 Storm model R has sporty riding ergonomics with the handlebars short and far from the rider, making the body position slightly forward and the footstep in the middle. Meanwhile, the GT model is more relaxed, with long handlebars that are closer and the footstep at the front. It will be very suitable when taken on a long journey.
Other aesthetic differences apart from the handlebars, are in the front visor and rear cushion for the pillion seat (for the GT model). Regarding the price, of course the R variant will be cheaper, priced at 24.995 USD or around IDR 397,3 million. The GT is marketed for 28.995 USD or the equivalent of IDR 460,9 million.

3 Cylinder Engine
Both are equipped with a 3-cylinder 2.458ccc, DOHC 12 valve, liquid-cooled engine which has 167 hp of power at 6,000 rpm and 221 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Connected to a 6-speed manual transmission, with a Torque Assist Clutch system.
There are also other features such as Traction Control, Cornering ABS, Engine Brake Control and a TFT color screen instrument panel. The Triumph Rocket 3 Storm R and GT use an aluminum frame with Showa upside-down suspension and a fully-adjustable Showa tube monoshock.
The single-sided swingarm makes the appearance of this British motorbike look fierce. The braking is supported by monoblock calipers from Brembo combined with dual 320mm discs at the front and 300mm discs at the rear. The front rims are 17 inches wrapped in 150/80 tires and the rear rims are 16 inches with 240/50 tires which are quite wide.
