Several Parts were Removed and Replaced to Make It Lighter
The rims on the BMW R 1301 have been replaced with forged aluminum measuring 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear, wrapped in sporty tires for asphalt roads. The parts that were removed were the mirrors, handguards or hand protectors, and the rear fender because these parts were no longer needed on the track.

The exhaust was also replaced with Akrapovic to release maximum power potential in the engine. The suspension sector may also experience adjustments, considering that this motorbike is no longer used on the ground. Even more complete with custom seats made from Yves Knobel in Switzerland.
Modification from VTR Motorrad
The BMW 1301 was built by a well-known modification workshop in Switzerland. They made modifications that were different from the others, because the motorbike, which was originally an adventure style, was rotated 180 degrees to become a supermoto that was ready to be raced on the circuit.
Appearing in a gray color decorated with the typical BMW M livery, it further illustrates that this motorbike has great engine power. On the side of the body there is the writing VTR and the name of the motorbike “R 1301”, the mica part of the headlight has become yellow and the front windshield has been replaced with a shorter one.

If you are interested in modifying this motorbike, you have to spend a decent budget. The modification cost alone costs 13,000 pounds sterling or almost Rp. 260 million. That’s just the modification cost, not including the price of the motorbike, which is sold in England for 15,990 pounds sterling or the equivalent of IDR 318.9 million.
